Bolton are still in with a shout are they not? Although there's a chance the Huns could be the last English side left in this tournament. *Edit* Don't think I've ever taken this much interest in the UEFA cup since the so-called 'Champions' League was invented. Will be glad when the English loving Huns get knocked out. Hopefully sooner so that i can enjoy the rest of the tournament without worries about them progressing to the final. Link to comment

uni_don
I got to the Bobbin at the start of Spurs' extra time, then they switched to the video jukebox at half time, frigg knows why. Get home and find out I missed penalties... gutted. Sounds like it was a good night of football! Link to comment
Guest LondonScottish
What was Chimbonda doing, frigging idiot. Explain? Link to comment
E-P-K
Explain? One of the worst penalties you will ever likely to see. Scuffed across the ground and a couple of yards wide. I thought Everton were brilliant, With Arteta and Carsley being exceptional. With the later playing the hard tackling defensive midfielder perfectly. Link to comment
Dynamo
Damn, I was hoping Spurs would give the Huns a pasting. Link to comment
Guest LondonScottish
One of the worst penalties you will ever likely to see. The lad's a central defender; Tottenham were down to the dregs as of who would take a kick, and he had to get it right in the corner to beat their keeper. I don't understand how he can be classed as an "idiot", because he missed a kick. So the likes of Waddle, Peter Nicholas, Del Piero etc etc were all idiots too because they missed the target too. Get real. Penalties are a complete lottery. Link to comment

They had a defender take there second penalty so there position has nothing to do with it. IMO its all about confidence and of course a bit of luck, But missing the target by such a distance from 12 yards is unforgivable TBH. Link to comment

vanderark14
i was chuffed Chimbonda missed his penalty after his "its all about the money" jibes recently. didnt look like that te me when ye were lying on the ground crying. get it up ye Pascal. Link to comment
OneZanderDiamond
Explain? Chimbonda was overheard last month saying that he doesn't care about winning things and he's only in football for the money. I think that would make him an "idiot", not due to the fact he thinks that but the fact he thought it appropriate to tell someone Link to comment

Guest LondonScottish
Robo Everton are a real team with a real Heart, how are the united States of liverpool getting on in the league? Aren't Liverpool 4th behind the excellent Arsenal, Man Utd and Chelsea. And they're still on for their third Champions League final in 4 years. Link to comment
