Simplistic Posted April 5, 2008 Share Posted April 5, 2008 Spartans are moving into a new 3 millions pound complex with full training facilities and a new little stadium - they could tap into a large area of Edinburgh and be an excellent little team that could benefit from hearts going bust. Gala would be interesting as there is no other teams near - but having lived down there football isn't the number 1 sport. Spartans would benefit more from the catchment of Edinburgh. I think we have had enough teams in areas with little potential - elgin will never get an average 10k gate - I think Spartans should get in as they could - they could be at the very least the east coast version of partick thistle but I reckon they could be more!!
