not the greatest match but the swiss were unlucky not too get at least 1 penalty and missed a couple of very good chances.

Typical first game. How lucky were the Czechs? One shot on goal, and he tried his best to slice it wide, but still scored!!! Switzerland should have had a penalty in stoppage time, but apart from that they still had a few chances, but only a couple clear cut. Really unfortunate that shot came off the bar with Cech beaten, and really felt for their captain who looks to be out for the tournament.

 

I would hope there will be a lot more exciting games than this........

Thought the referee was terrible. Switzerland never got any decisions in the last half an hour. Felt really sorry for them, especially Frei getting that injury. He looked genuinely distraught.
