Prediction, close game, but think Germany will just sneak it by 2-1.

Both teams will be going all out to win this game, in order to avoid Portugal in the next round! The German central defence looked extremely dodgy last time out however, by the same token, Croatia look extremely toothless in attack!

 

My prediction: 2-0 germany

Definitely goals left in this one.... germany look threatening going forwards and should have had a goal when the Croatia keeper dropped the ball.

 

One thing is for certain though, Germany need to sort out that back four! Lahm and Jansen are superb going forward, but they don't convince defensively. Metzelder has carried on where he left off the other day against Poland - Germany must have a better option at Centre half?

Regarding Christian Metzelder............if you don't play regularly for your club team and/or your not in form you should not be representing your country. It seems Germany are being found out with this. I wish Craig Burley would take heed though of this but I very much doubt it. If you play sh*te for certain teams in royal blue or emerald green and white your in!

Germany have just been found out, favourites going in to this euros but with an old, dodgy keeper and a starnge defence you can see how they are being beat by a younger more energetic Croation side.

 

Pish though i wasna going to bet on this match and i did, totally screwed myself.

Regarding Christian Metzelder............if you don't play regularly for your club team and/or your not in form you should not be representing your country. Good point. I wish we had ran a sweeper on here to determine how many times the word "England" has been mentioned during this Championship even though they are not involved (it must be about fifty by now). The mute button on the remote control may end up getting pressed shortly. Why can't the Englich reporters, pundits, commentators and summarisers just get over it? Have they missed the point that England never earned the right to play in Euro 2008 because they finished third in their qualifying group? UEFA have got to draw the line somewhere and it happened to be at second place in these qualifiying groups.

its annoying as fook. it wont change though. the majority of their audience comes from England (obviously) and they couldnt give a monkeys about viewers from wales, NI and Scotland.
