Guest LondonScottish
There's a very good chance Podolski will be joining Spurs after Euro 2008. Could be quite an exciting team at the Lane next season. Link to comment

Saw him play for Barca against Hearts last year. Him and Bojan were absolutely superb! Dos Santos would just stare at his own feet and start running while players bounced off him, while Bojan spent the entire game running through the Hearts defence to beat the offside trap, and would receive the ball about 5 metres past the last man before they even noticed! Is Dos Santos a loan signing or permanant deal??? Very surprised Barca have let him go they were raving about the 2 kids ( Dos Santos and Bojan ) last season. A couple of great signings they have made and adding Podolski to that would just add to the quality there. Link to comment

vanderark14
If Spurs don't push Arsenal or Liverpool this year then they never will. it depends who Arsenal and Liverpool sign. I just dont see the EPL top 4 changing anytime soon. Link to comment

van basten 9
Have Spurs signed any defenders? Cos they need too true, woodgate and king are top drawer but too injury prone. i see their looking at the keeper from PSV for 10 million as a much needed replacement for robinson. some serious cash being spent at white heart lane! Guest LondonScottish
Have Spurs signed any defenders? Cos they need too. Apart from Chimbonda, Woodgate, King, Hutton, Bale, Gilberto (and they should have a new keeper sorted in the next few days.) Link to comment
Dynamo
Well there defence was pretty sh*te last season. Link to comment
Jambo83
Podolski's left foot is a bit tasty. I like guys who can blast the ball as hard as that but still keep it pretty accurate. Link to comment
Guest LondonScottish
Well there defence was pretty sh*te last season. They only signed Hutton and Woodgate in January, and Ledley King was injured for a large share of the season too. Chimbonda was being a sulky nut and wanted away before Ramos took over; that seems to have been turned around. Ramos also realises that Robinson is a total liability in goal and he'll be benched or sold for next season. I would imagine Spurs would be pushing top 4, but its very tight from 4 to 9ish Link to comment
archiemacdougal
Have Spurs signed any defenders? Cos they need too. Hutton, King, Woodgate, and Bale is what they will likely start with. Could do with another central defender to cover for King as Dawson isn't up to it, if they want to get anywhere close to the top 4. Link to comment

And Ramos doesn't seem that impressed ny King. Link to comment

Would take Bale over Gilberto any day. Can't comment on your second point, havent had the chance to ask Senor Ramos on his opinion on King. Link to comment
friedbergdvah
would love to see podolski in the premiership...quality player who cant get starting game at bayern. He will only go to Tottenham if Berbatov goes and if thats the case it will be a transfer fee of between 16.5million to 17million pounds. Would also love to see Bastian Schweinsteiger in the Prem...
