dj_bollocks
From the Scotland on Sunday... Not everyone was unimpressed with the poor behaviour of Rangers who travelled to the Uefa Cup final. The Liverpool fans unfurled a banner which read: 'Thank you Rangers for your efforts in destroying Manchester.' Link to comment
robbo
RANGERS 0-4 LFC Liverpool have enjoyed their best pre-season result so far after an excellent 4-0 victory at Rangers and you can now watch all of the goals - plus 20 minutes of highlights - online. Torres opened the scoring midway through the first half with a close range finish after Damien Plessis had seen a fine shot palmed away by the Rangers goalkeeper. The Reds dominance was rewarded further after the break when French youngster Ngog opened his account for his new club with a terrific low drive into the corner of the net, and Benayoun added a third just a couple of minutes later when he slotted home from close range after Krisztian Nemeth had seen a shot saved. Nemeth was instrumental in the fourth goal as well after winning a penalty which Xabi Alonso smashed home into the corner of the net. MMG
must have been hell of a scumbag fest at ibrox yesterday, more so that usual. the fact they had a banner about this shows they are just as bad as the hunsq Exactly, if the boot had been on the other foot and it was Man Utd supporters unveiling banners about the huns destroying Liverpool city centre, the scousers would be outraged. They'd boycott any papers that showed the picture of the banner, wear black armbands for a season. Seek councelling for the trauma in which having to see the smashed up bus shelters caused them and petition Gordon Brown to admit that the whole world has it in for them and they've been dealt more hardships in history than the Jewish race!! So true. Poor old Liverpool. Probably on a par with Chelsea as my most hated non-SPL team. Link to comment
fatshaft
I think you call it IRONY!!Then you misunderstand the Scousers terribly. That banner is not ironic in any way, they really are applauding the Huns in Manchester, and laughing at the Mancs. Exactly, if the boot had been on the other foot and it was Man Utd supporters unveiling banners about the huns destroying Liverpool city centre, the scousers would be outraged.
