Guest LondonScottish
Excellent....looking forward to 3 pages of moaning that Lee Miller should be in there ahead of Clarkson, and how Diamond's as good as Berra. Link to comment
barassie_afc
i am more worried that we seem to be going down the vogts path of giving a game to anyone with a scottish granny in england Link to comment

Sonoftherock
I had no idea Commons had a Scottish granny! Incidentally, I know all about this guy. I've seen him play many times at the City ground. IMHO, he was Forests most talented player, really skillful and scores some spectacular goals... he can play anywhere across the midfield, he played most often out wide for Forest, but I actually think he was best when employed through the middle. He's a dead ball specialist, whose knocked in a good few free kicks for Forest. He's a left footer, but scores a good few goals cutting in from the right wing. On the downside, he's a bit of a fatty..... Link to comment

Also Callum Davidson ? FFS I really don't think Burley has what it takes, his selections so far have at best been uninspired at worst just down right poor. Link to comment

Would have a hard job arguing that one. Clarkson scored 2 goals from open play on Saturday alone whilst Miller has scored 2 from open play in 20 games. Link to comment

KennyS
Calum Davidson? Kris Commons is a bit of a Vogtsism. Link to comment
florin_raducioiu
With the lack of depth at left back, maybe Mulgrew could be in with a shout of getting into the squad should he hit the ground running with us Link to comment
zander
Diamond had a great last season surely he should be in before Davidson. Not interested in Scotland anyway probally try find a junior game or something. Link to comment

Dandyjam
Not seen much of Darren Barr at Falkirk, is he worthy of a call up?? Surprised at Callum Davidson's recall especially as it's unlikely he'll get a game ahead of Naysmith. Plus he must be in his 30's now but maybe he's been doing ok at Preston. Link to comment
zander
so why would you comment on the squad The only reason I am ever interested is if an Aberdeen player gets a call just feel Zander is better than Davidson and we should be rewarding young players with a place in the squad. Link to comment
Keiththebairn
Not seen much of Darren Barr at Falkirk, is he worthy of a call up??He's been breathtaking for two seasons. If he had been playing for a more fashionable club he would have had a cap against Czech Republic i reckon. We won't keep him much longer. Link to comment

Virgin Don
Think if this is the squad for Macedonia and Iceland away i think we will really struggle. I am very concerned about Burley not convinced at all about his selections! Callum Davidson and Gary Naysmith should not be in the squad they are finished at Internationals. But if Davidson repeats the same performance and goal against Iceland away as the last time i would be very happy. Link to comment

The only area of the team in which I think we'll struggle is in defence... however, if we don't finish our group in second place then we've had a total shocker. Norway are currently in the sort of state that we were under Bertie Vogts - Macedonia will be our main competition. Link to comment
