TheChimp
Has he got some sort of loyalty bonus for hanging around until the end of his contract? Spoke to a tim about it this morning and we've agreed that the guy should get a sound kicking! Link to comment

SteveW
Football is fool of scum like him and his agent. Scum? Why should he take a 150k a year pay cut to make Celtic happy? After all, they are the ones who decided to offer him the deal and then not use him. Link to comment

Bamber
Both he and gravesen supposedly have significant loyalty bonuses (best part of a years wages supposedly) that are paid if they see out their contract hence they arent in a rush to move Apparently Larrson had one as well - was paid for out of the match they had for him so its no surprise they dont want to leave. Rather than blame the player/agent you have to wonder why the club would do it? Link to comment

A professional sportsman having been told that his services were no longer requiredwould be keen to move on.Balde is just happy to sit and do little and pick up a large wage. His option obviously as he is under contract but celtic offered him a free transferso he could negotiate a deal with any interested club. "It's a complete non-starter," he told the club's official website. "We have had no contact with Celtic on this issue whatsoever. "It's completely out of our wage structure. What we want to try to communicate is that we just do not do this sort of wage - we don't pay that sort of money to anyone."....and beside it have a pic of Balde with the caption...'Balde: In demand ' :) Link to comment
