I Dream of Electric Sheep
Well now it appears that Kevin Keegan is still the manager of Newcastle with Newcastle realising the following statement: "Kevin has raised a number of issues. "We'd like to stress Kevin is extremely important both now and in the future and want him to continue to play an instrumental role as manager." http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ted/7593683.stm This is like something from the Vladimir Romanov School of man management I can only assume that Mike Ashley has looked at Hearts and thought Link to comment
Jaws
Newcastle really are the laughing stock of the Premiership. They were last season and nothing seems to have changed. Totally understand why Keegan's pissed off though. Milner being sold when he's trying to strengthen the team doesn't really help and i wouldn't bet on Owen being there next season either. He must be wondering why he bothered coming back. Link to comment
Donmacca
http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsD...1383045,00.html He is still manager as far as Newcastle are concerned. Please stay King Kev Link to comment

Guest rocket_scientist
always thought Keegan was a balloon personally As a manager, agree, but as a player, he was fantastic. The boy hidna watched fitba since the day he left Man See, not one game - live nor on telly. Strange pick as manager, based on nostalgia rather than recruitment or football principles. The appointment of Wise wisna - equally bizarre. Newcastle deserve yet another chapter of stalling, self induced. Horrible club. Link to comment
barassie_afc
got to question the intelligence level of their fans when he was appointed, messiah etc etc etc, deluded morons Link to comment
Site Sponsor RTYD Posted September 3, 2008 Site Sponsor Share Posted September 3, 2008 always thought Keegan was a balloon personally With what's happened at Man City I would have thought that unless they geta similar deal that their fans would be happy with a team that plays attacking football, is safe in the EPL and wins the odd cup. Keegan could deliver that. Link to comment

E-P-K
Mike Ashley is to sell the club. He is no longer perpared to fund a club where he is not wanted. An interesting and honest statement - Mike Ashleys official statement. Link to comment
I Dream of Electric Sheep
This could go both ways it could be good for the club or end up costing a club a wealthy owner and ultimately speed up the downward spiral. Link to comment
