OneZanderDiamond
Announced a couple of hours ago. Surprised there's not a thread yet. A lot of fans on his back due to the style of play - seems similar to us. When he took over the club were in the relegation zone - he kept them up then last season they finished 10th comfortably. Hardly a failure IMO EDIT: Just to clarify this was by no means the only reason for him leaving - deals done behind his back etc. Link to comment
Dandyjam
Feel a bit sorry for him considering 2 of his better players were sold without his say so. But overall, can't say I'm surprised he's gone. Link to comment
Jaws
Aye it's really down to him having no say over some of the guys that have left, most notably Ferdinand and McCartney to Sunderland. Similar situation to Newcastle really. Link to comment

Jaws
Odds on that being precisely where he now ends up!? That would be so bizarre but nothing surprises me in football. He has said he wants to remain in the Premiership so the Newcastle job is the most likely one to be available in the near future. Link to comment

Scarface
Can't really blame "Curbs" for walking when you consider that the Hammers' board have been selling players against his wishes (e.g. Ljunberg, Ferdinand, McCartney, Zamora). I'm a little surpirsed that the board didn't try and flog Ashton and Noble as they could've made millions. I reckon they'll go for Bilic but isn't there some Italian dude being rumoured to take over? Think Billic has said he not interested but that might change after next wk. Also think it's Di canio that is interested in the job. Link to comment

I'm sure Paolo may be in the running but I was referring to the guy Balldini (or something) who is apparently cosy with the board and the boy Nani they've got in charge of signings etc. Link to comment

Whoever takes over will have a very tough job with the players they have let go over the summer. Link to comment
