England will be well on the way to World Cup qualifications but won't want to take any injury risks with the lesser home nations. The chances are none of the pther countries will still have a chance of going to South Africa by then. Link to comment

If any of the home countries had a chance of qualifying for the World Cup, I'm sure weakened teams would be played. It's good to have this tournament though, whether it will draw in the crowds is another issue. Link to comment
