Too nice to give his teammates a bollocking although not quite in the scott severin league of invisibility. Good player yes, good leader no How can you say that about one of our most inspirational captains of the last decade, he was never afraid to put his head where it hurts and was a model professional throughout his time with the dons, he has been sadly missed since he left Link to comment

Since leaving us it has been a turbulent time for Russ with injury's and not getting a fair crack at Sunderland. He may regret Leaving us and we could have got some silverware last season surely if he'd stayed. Link to comment
