I wouldn't be surprised if he does. When he is fit he is one of the best strikers in England and really is wasting his time at a loser club like Newcastle.

I would think he'll be offski next summer on a bosman. Never really understood why i signed for Newcastle though. I suppose they were the only mugs who'd offer him 100k a week at the time given his injury problems.

In ten years people will not remember how much he got paid but will remember if he won the league/champions league and surely he would know that.

Who else would take him? If one of the 'big four' wanted him, they would have done so before now.

 

Only 'bigger' team I can see going for him would be Man City, mainly because they'll bid for anyone right now.
