zig-a-zig-ah
George Bests one is good... Link to comment
walkingonglass
In terms of Autobiographies I'd recommend reading Steven Gerrard's - I thought it was well good. But if you just fancy a great football read; get 'The Damned Utd' about Clough's time in charge of Leeds. It's the best football book i've ever read and I guarantee you won't be able to put it down. Baggy89
Bought my dad the Dean Windass' one for his Christmas last year, he said that was really good. Link to comment
pob19790
I'm reading Bryan Gunns book at the moment and it's not a bad read. Link to comment
daz1903
Just finished Ian Rush book. started reading Jamie Carraghers!! Dean Windass book a good read, some might say he shows a bit too much love for Gazza in it though! Link to comment
DodgyKeeper
Would strongly recommend Gary Imlach's 'My Father & Other Working Class Football Heroes'. It's a memoir of Stuart Imlach - a Scottish international who played for numerous clubs in the 1950's. It's a very good book and if you're looking for a little more depth that your usual footballer's biography then this would be a good choice. Link to comment

I've read the following ones recently as well so there no use:Keane'sGazza'sWillie Miller'sMaradona's CheersI would recommended Pele's autobiography. A bit a baby making factory this lad was, not feared to put it about . Overall book must have been interesting as I read it in its entirety, not something that I do very often. Mr Men books are about the stretch of my usual reading skills  . Link to comment
Old Wing Stand
Have read George Bests and Brian Cloughs other book, Jimmy Greaves is also a good read he would fit with our first team with amount of boozing he did Link to comment
archiemacdougal
I have Michael Owens, Steven Gerrards and just away to start reading Jamie Carraghers, although I have heard Ian Rush's is meant to be a good read...... Bet that was a barrel o' laughs Link to comment
SC Don
If you like golf - Darren Clarke's is good. Know it's football your asking for so in that case Gerrards. Link to comment
Lang Bar
Would strongly recommend Gary Imlach's 'My Father & Other Working Class Football Heroes'. It's a very good book and if you're looking for a little more depth that your usual footballer's biography then this would be a good choice. Agree, this is an excellent book. Some of these multi millionaire prima donnas should be forced to read this book. It would fairly humble them. This of course provides a handy link to also recommend Eddie Turnbulls autobiography. Read the books if you don't know the link. Link to comment
Lang Bar
If you fancy reading something football based but not exactly an autobiography.I recommend Return of the Busby Babes by Des Dillon, a good story with a few laughs along the way. Link to comment
