vanderark14
Surprise inclusions Weir and Barr are no surprise to me. I expected those 2 as McManus is suspended. If he plays Weir then Carew will destroy Scotland. Link to comment
vanderark14
with regards to the defence. i might be on my own here but i'm looking at this from a scotland point of view not as an Aberdeen fan Lee Wilkie is currently on form and is big enough to handle Carew when the long balls come at him. Weir is to slow and sh*t now to handle him and Caldwell will not be up to it. tin hat is on Link to comment

Dandyjam
Jamie frigging McAllister?? Burley must be having a laugh. I thought Callum Davidson was bad but I'd rather have him there as back up to Naysmith than that useless twat McAllister. Not surprised about Iwelumo, I actually brought up an old thread saying he was worth a shout for a call up. Pretty much as I thought though but good shout VDA about Wilkie, was possibly worth a place in the squad. Link to comment
Guest Donforlife
Jamie Mcallister - utterly ridiculous - he is absolutely gash - embarrassing pick. no kev Mcnaughton either???? darren frigging barr? based on what could he possibly be good enough to get in the scotland squad?? iewlumo - he wont get near the pitch - watched him play for scot B v ireland B and he was piss and he manged to make Steve Howard look good Link to comment

vanderark14
Weir shouldn't be allowed near a Scotland shirt again. agreed. and not just because he walked out. because he is too slow to deal with international quality strikers and IMO Mcmanus carried him in a few games last season. Correct. No pace. Was getting caught out so often LAST season, let alone a year on. F@cking useless cunt nowadays. Stand aside and lets look to the future. Link to comment

Stand aside and lets look to the future. not much point in him being here. how old will he be when the world cup comes around. assuming we actually qualify for this one then he will be at least 40 years old. friggin pointless. barassie_afc
Don for life basing Iwelumo on one game, have been asking for the big man to get a chance for a while, he has a decent scoring record in the championship, shocked at mcallister, that has came out of nowehere, is mcnaughton injured ? Weir is a fkn joke Link to comment
ek dons
Callum davidson is injured and so is mcnaughton i think who would normally be in there ahead of him. Surprise mcormack isnt in there especially ahead of the likes of clarkson who hasnt been great this season. Nicholson also has had gd start down south and was hoping he would get an inclusion but the midfield is pretty strong already. Link to comment
paulkaneatemyhamster
Christ, and i thought JC was bad, but Burley is just picking awful sides, and as a result isn't getting the wins. Alexander, Barr, Berra, McAllister, Weir, Broadfoot, Caldwell, Imwelou, Commons & Clarckson should be no where near the Scotland team awful, awful selections. Bring back Watty ... all is forgiven. Guest the shepherd
i wonder who will captain the side.David "I never want to play for Scotland again" Weir will no doubt captain the side in the absence of the ever reliable Stephen "I never handballed it ref - honest" McManus. Link to comment
paulkaneatemyhamster
things PK who should be there in place of them true. personally I'd have Mark Wilson, Zander Diamond, Lee Miller, Barry Nic, Stephen Fletcher, Frazer Wright, Stephen Hughes, Steve Hammell, Charlie Mulgrew, Mark Reynolds, Ross McCormack, Garry O'Conner. never mind the likes of HUtton, McNaughton, Anderson, Ferguson, Webster all out injured right now.
