I reckon Hughes will invest in a couple solid pro's in the Makelele mould. Kompany is playing as the holding midfielder just now but would be better utilised in defence.

 

I'm also delighted that Joe Hart signed a new contract this morning. He will be England's first choice keeper for years to come.
