I have to agree with Barry McGuigan. Hatton started well, but the pace got to him after 6 rounds. I think he made a mistake going in against a man who was a World Champ recently (his only defeat in 30+ fights being to Malignaggi, the last man Hatton beat). He should have had at least 1, ideally 2, low-key opponents, just to get back into the swing of things.

 

Hope he enjoys his retirement, anyway. He's a nice guy and has a lot to offer as a Coach and Promoter.
