Dynamo
Sheffield United only had to beat/draw with Wigan at home to stay up. They failed. Sour grapes imo. Link to comment
Guest LondonScottish
Personally I don't think they do........the signed a player and it was the Iranian holder of the players that frigged West Ham over. I don't think its fair personally. Sheffield United were sh*t, so they went down. They have been clutchin at straws ever since. Sheffield Utd were a poor side, but played by the rules. West Ham only stayed up through Tevez who was an illegal player. They knew he was illegal, were found guilty, but the panel bottled it in giving out the punishment it deserved. Link to comment

Only afterwards did they go on unbelievable run with Tevez in the side after the FA deemed it ok for him to play on. Seems this case is basing it on that Tevez made a difference and West Ham wouldn't have picked up the points they did without him but was cleared to play. Link to comment

But it doesn't take away from the fact he was illegal. I wonder how much Trevor Brooking swayed the FA decision. Link to comment

Sour grapes imo.Or alternatively, if they'd won their first game of the season, instead of drawing to a late penalty from king of the divers, they'd have been safe as well. You can say whatever you like about 'what ifs', but Teves was not legally playing for the cockney w*nkers. They've been caught, and even though the FA with Brooking on board wouldn't sanction the appropriate punishment, the courts have. Link to comment
