fatshaft
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...and/7756835.stmKeane unsure of Sunderland future Keane has taken charge of 100 matches as Sunderland manager Roy Keane has hinted his future as Sunderland boss may not be certain after the club's defeat by Bolton saw them slip into the relegation zone. Defensive errors triggered Saturday's 4-1 loss after which some fans at the Stadium of Light fans booed his players - but Keane took full responsibility. "I ask myself every day if I'm the right man for Sunderland," he said. "I asked myself this morning, and I said I was. Sunday morning, if the answer's no, we'll have to look at it." From the Sunderland message boardcall this post shock knee jerking, but Roy, the famine's over. Link to comment
E-P-K
Keane has been making all the wrong noises in the last couple of week.I would not be suprised if he walked. Link to comment

snoyl
Wouldn't surprise me.What he's done with the money at his disposal is sheer laughable!!!I doubt he'll ever make it as a top manager. To many bolts missing and only signs his bestest buddies or Irish folk. Link to comment
vanderark14
had to laugh at MOTD pundits blaming Gordon for any of those goals. no keeper could do well with such a mince defence in front of him Link to comment
vanderark14
said it long ago that Keane was overated as a coach Link to comment
King Street Loon
If he walks that'll be him finished with football for good i think. Link to comment
Lang Bar
Interesting that he did a Jimmy and blamed individual errors.Mentioned a couple of guys by name BUT qualified his statement by praising both of them for being honest hard working pros. JC on the other hand blames the players and leaves it at that.I like what I hear from Roy Keane when he backs his players. He is fully aware that the buck stops with him and he doesn't look for sloppy excuses. I'd hope he doesn't pack in but that someone will take him in as their number 2 and make him better. It is inevitable that he will resign. Might be good for Tony Mowbry to have Keane alongside him.And as for Gordon, I'd say he was definitely at fault for one of the goals. He made a bad decision to come for a ball, realised he wouldn't get there, and was caught in no mans land. The ball looped just out of his not inconsiderable reach.Definitely his fault, but he is just back from lengthy injury and this happens with outfield players not being match fit, so why should a goalie be any different. He is still a great goalie. Link to comment

Jaws
For the money he's spent they really ought to be doing better than they are, although i couldn't say any of his signings could be classed as a good piece of business. Most are overpriced and overrated like Chimbonda and Diouf. Link to comment

K-9
Strachan taken Celtic about as far as he can and would think the lure of getting around 70 million to spend in 2 seasons would also cause interest. Link to comment
Dynamo
I think he'd maybe hold out for something bigger....not that I think he'd get anything bigger. He may well have done all he can at Celtic though I suppose, I think they'll win the league again, but they're out of Europe at the first hurdle.Do well at Sunderland then maybe get a bigger job...something that unsettles Celtic will be good Link to comment
