Arsenal were ironically the better side after gonig down to 10 men. Broke through many times but Liverpool were very sound defensively.

Anyways........I think Liverpool would have won that game if Arsenal still had 11 men on the park, its a stupid thing to say - however we dominated it when they had 11 men on the park and were the only side going to win it.

 

They got a man sent off, and then it was park the bus, but work harded in the midfield whilst the bus was still parked........can't blame them though, down to 10 men - they had to play for the point or else they were out of the race for the title.

 

As Stoney said at the start of the season, teams are scared of losing (Chelsea, Man U, Liverpool, Arsenal) so they play cautious with 15 mins to go instead of going for it.......... and its not often we agree but I'm beginning to see where he's coming from.

 

The game itself was rather boring, a point is better than nothing, but we should have went for it more.....as should Arsenal, but hard to break down a top class side with 9 men behind the ball (all apart from RVP). Good to see Keane raise his hand to his ear after he scored. Once Torres is back, I can't see past us - we have good games up and coming, only difficult one is on Sunday which I'll be down for is Newcastle........

 

Bobo - He done 2 tackles the the same........he'd been warned about it, got a booking.........what does he do? The exact same thing.......he never learnt his lesson.
