Found out that that the long throw is the only thing left in my locker!! I remember that bonnie free kick out at Ellon in the Semi final of the Dickie last season!!! BadgerSheep I wouldn't rate Echt as the 4th best for football, in football terms I probably wouldn't have them in the top league there just big physical and a lump up the pitch. Age is catching up with that team unless the bring in a few good young players they'd never cope with juniors. Link to comment
lethal707 Posted July 7, 2009 Share Posted July 7, 2009 Agree echt are not half as good as they were a few years ago, but to be honest i dont think they are the best amateur team, about 5 years ago Walker Road were the best then Cove were decent, As for sportsmans we played them last year in a cup and got beat, honestly got good players so wont be surprised if they won the league. Hope for revenge in the league though for putting us out the cup Walker Road had a great side a few years back used to watch them a lot as my step dad played for them years ago. Had pre season last night can't walk today honestly feel like I need a wheelchair. Even the dancing sheep is making my head spin!!!!!! Link to comment

We won it this season along with the Chatton Rover cup and Div 3 league. Proud moments for me playing for a team I used to be mascot of when I was a young one. Link to comment

Lost 3-1 to Woodside. Played pretty well in first half but collapsed in second half and were all over the shop. Best getting these things ironed out now as opposed to later. (HOPEFULLY)Woodside look a far better outfit this season as in past two and think if they can keep team together they could be up there abouts in Div 1 this season. Meant to have Stoneywood Juniors today. Pitch inspection @ 12 Link to comment
