Westendorfer
Phil Jagielka loses the ball and Xabi Alonso releases Albert Riera with a stunning pass, but Tim Howard is out quickly to smother the shot. Goodison Park is littered with socks thrown by Liverpool fans. Apparently that's in reference to a derogatory term for people from Kirkby - the location for Everton's proposed new ground. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/fa_cup/7870286.stm Link to comment
macca18
There used to be a sock factory in Kirkby (Just outside liverpool where everton are moving) and the workers always robbed the socks. Got called sock robbers. Link to comment
