The Oxford Don
For anyone else on here with an interest in rugby in general and in the national team in particular, Frank Hadden has done the decent thing and stepped aside, thank God: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/rugby_unio...ish/7980152.stm He's a decent guy, Hadden, and did well to stabilise things in his first couple of seasons given the mess that we were in before he came on board. However over the last couple of years it became apparent that he wasn't equipped to take the team onto the next level, so it's good to see that he has recognised his own limitations and moved on to let someone else have a crack. Now, what other circumstance have I been thinking those thoughts about recently...? Link to comment

madjockmcferson
im sure he is a good man but if they have any ambitions to make rugby appeal to a broader audience they need to be better...its probably true that they dont have the players but i wouldnt pay to watch them play the all blacks or anyone for that matter.... Original A1
Well quite - they could just swap places! I always liked Frank Hadden, but am surprised he didn't fall on his sword before that. Wonder who will step into the breach now. If breeches, they won't fit Jimmy, alas. Link to comment
