Dynamo
He'll be best of pals with Beckenbauer after we played Bayern last year.I bet he'll mention it in one of his columns. Link to comment

Tango Mans Taxi
He'll be best of pals with Beckenbauer after we played Bayern last year.I bet he'll mention it in one of his columns. The old name drop. Bread and butter JC column guff. Not sure who they will instil in his place though, Roberto Mancini has been out for a while, Rijkaard is up there, the usual names I suspect will be thrown into the proverbial hat. Unless they actually have a hat they throw names into at Bayern then pick them out... which would be a controversial system to say the least. Link to comment

Seems to be the way JC picks the team most weeks. Maybe other clubs use the same method for other situations. Link to comment
red_rowie
Quote from BBC website "We did not come to this decision lightly," club chairman Karl-Heinze Rummenigge said in a statement."But the results of the past weeks, the way in which they came about and above all, the situation we find ourselves in five games before the end of the season forced us to act out of a sense of responsibility to the club." If only we could have had a quote from Willie Miller like that! Link to comment
Maguire89
Bayern should have fired him much earlier, he made more mistakes than JC! Link to comment

Maybe a bit of JC rubbed off on Beckenbauer. Some sort of faux pas rub on tan perhaps... followed by a hankering of mine & mealy pies from Greggs the bakers / JG Ross. Link to comment

archiemacdougal
Strange timing as they are only 3 points off the top of the Bundesliga with 5 to go. After getting horsed 5-1 by Wolfsburg, he was under huge pressure but thought he'd survive until the end of the season. Link to comment

FUKIN HELL, SACKING THEIR MANAGER WHEN THEY CAN STILL MAKE EUROPE, WHAT A FUKIN DISGRACE, SHOCKING TIMING!!! Im sure most of the fans wanted a change but who they gonna get in better? and do they really have the money to sack klinsman? should have waited until the end of the season to see if they made europe or not, im sure klinsman would have magically became a good manager overnight if they made europe, managers get the mysterious clean slate, abolished of all past misdemeanours if they make europe? dont they?
