Paul Le Guen To Leave PSG In The Summer

Paul Le Guen is set to leave Paris Saint-Germain in the summer after the club's board reduced the amount of say he would have in their summer restructuring plans, according to a report.

The 45-year-old has already been linked with taking over Atletico de Madrid, and the French club's decision to take away some of his powers could see that speculation increase.

L'Equipe claim that PSG president, Sebastien Bazin, has told Le Guen that he will have no say in how the club is structured and will also have to accept their choice for his assistant.

Also, the coach is unhappy that he will have a limited budget to improve his squad in the summer and is said to have lost faith in head of recruitment, Alain Roche.

With Le Guen unwilling to accept the demands made by the club, he will not renegotiate his contract when it expires at the end of the season and could begin talks with new teams immediately.

Valenciennes trainer, Antoine Kombouare, is at the top of the list to take over at PSG after Didier Deschamps accepted the position of head coach at Marseille this week.

Defeat at home to Rennes on Sunday ended any chance the French capital-based outfit had of winning Ligue 1 this term and le Guen is said to have held talks straight after the game with Bazin.
