ebbe1
Why has nobody suggested Billy Reid? He done a great job at clyde, and he has done a class job with Hamilton, while bringing through some good young players, ala easton, mcarthur, and mccarthy. My only concern would be his lack of contacts to unearth a gem down south, and his similaraties with JC? Link to comment
minijc
I think he is a decent manager but exactly like what Jimmy was 5 years ago, comes across 'clueless' at times in interviews. Link to comment
Sonic
BECAUSE HE IS JIMMY SQUARED THAT'S WHY!!!!!!!!! Link to comment
Dandyjam
He has done a good job but I think he'd be a bit out of his depth up here. I'd rather have Jefferies. Link to comment

TheChimp
Billy Reid comes across as a manager who's fine at his level, which is lower SPL/first division. Think he'd be out of his depth further up the league. Link to comment
SteveW
Great coach but lacks the stature to be a great manager. Would be a good addition to the team as an assistant or coach but presumably he wouldn't be interested in that. Link to comment
Tord31
I'd lump Billy Reid in with John Hughes and Jim Jeffries in that I'd rather go for a total unknown than any of them. At least with an unknown it can go up or down. With the run of the mill SPL managers it would just be pretty much the same although we might get a boost in first half of first season regardless of who the manager is as the fans are more supportive (see vocal 14k crowd for Livvie at home in Jimmy's 3rd game, 2-0 Steve Craig impressive braceage). Henry
Reid has finally left his job at Hamilton. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22016771 Bet he wishes he'd taken the job at Swansea. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/jul/13/hamilton-manager-billy-reid-snub-swansea Link to comment
