Lee Mcallister Fight On Tv?

A home win.

McAllister landed a superb right hook one minute and 43 seconds into the third to lift the Commonwealth title that had been left vacant by Amir Khan.

The Aberdeen Assassin impressed in front of a noisy home crowd in the city's Beach Ballroom and took the fight to his opponent from the start.

McAllister has now won 29 of his 31 contests with the prospect of a money spinning all-Scottish fight against Gary McArthur for the Commonwealth title likely to be the next challenge for the Granite City boxer.

Sowah went into the fight as the number one contender for the Commonwealth title and the current lightweight champion of Ghana with a record of 11 wins and three defeats.

However this was the Ghanaian powerhouse's first fight in Britain and he had never gone beyond 10 rounds in his professional career.

Sowah was stopped by Russian Rustam Nugaev in his only previous contest outside Ghana and never looked like winning this bruising encounter.

It was a tentative start from both fighters, although McAllister began on the front foot and seized the initiative by landing a few early jabs.

And the Ghanaian was looking increasingly unsteady on his feet in the second after being caught by a quickfire combination with McAllister upping his work-rate.

And it was all over in the third with a fantastic right hook flooring the Ghanaian who was counted out.

SOme would disagree, I think there are better more tougher fights out there he could have had.

yes course there is and people who know boxing will know it does not always work like that.

the belt was vacant and those two fighters were put forward for the fight . now he has the belt he will fight bigger fighters

he will never be a world champion as we seen when murray beat him but murray is a very good fighter.

Lee is very cocky but sometimes thats good in a fighter . Look at David Haye he is the same and it adds something to the fight
