Monkey
It appears that a work permit has been granted for Vujadinovic to stay to the end of the season but Udinese appear to want us to contribute to his wages now. From STV;Aberdeen boss Craig Brown is still waiting to find out whether he will be able to retain the services of on-loan defender Nikola Vujadinovic for the rest of the season. Virgin Don
Would like to see us keep him as when fit he looks pretty good at CB. To clear up previous disputes about him NO WAY is he a LB like a certain posters were trying to say before. Link to comment
Roo
I was told on Saturday that he's signed a 6 month extension to his flat lease here (or signed a new 6 month lease, can't remember which) Link to comment

Crossbow
I'm pleased to hear it - class player - let's just hope he can stay fit for more than 15 minutes. Is he Jamie Smith in disguise? Link to comment
Jazzer_Bett
Nah he confirmed Blackman, still waiting on Vuja. From what I saw at Easter Road, he was handy but at Hamilton he showed he could be the best centre back in the SPL. If he plays the remainder of the season ecpect him to pop up in the Premiership next year. Link to comment
minijc
He's a different class, a proper defender who is alright in the air and on the ground, classy guy and lovely hair. Link to comment
Jazzer_Bett
Let me retract what I said, it appear big jaw Tyrone confirmed he is staying on the news tonight! Delighted about that - I think we are extremely jammy having a top class Euro defender in our team, for peanuts. We don't need capaldi then? I'd rather sign a another decent midfielder to be honest. CONSI - VUJADINOVIC - DIAMOND - MCNAMEE Having McArdle means we can shuffle the pack when necessary. Link to comment

ollie1903
Consi has done alright at leftback but not the answer, a proper left back in Capaldi would be great.Considine is no left back. Too slow, and gets closed down too easily as he's heavy on the touch. An out and out LB to compliment McNamee would be great but if Brown is saying Capaldi is 2nd or even 3rd option then he may have Considine down for that role. Great news on Vujadinovic though. looks a class act and hopefully can stay injury free for the rest of the season. Link to comment

NorthernLights24
Aberdeen late last night completed the paperwork with Serie A side Udinese which will allow Nikola Vujadinović to remain on loan with the Dons until the end of the season. The club however have still to receive International clearance for the defender to play in tomorrow's game against St Mirren. It is hoped this will be done at some point today. Nikola told RedWeb "I am delighted the deal has been agreed between the two clubs. Early in the week it looked as though this might not happen. "I want to thank Steven Gunn at the club and his counterpart at Udinese for working so hard to get all the paperwork sorted out in time. "I am really enjoying my stay at Aberdeen. Everyone in the city has made me feel welcome and the supporters have been very kind towards me. The first half of the season was very frustrating as I was injured. I am looking forward now though to showing the fans what I can do. "I am also grateful to Craig Brown and Archie Knox for wanting to keep me and I hope to repay their faith in me. It has going to be a very busy few months for everyone at Aberdeen but it is an exciting time to be involved with the club and hopefully we can enjoy some success" http://www.afc.co.uk/articles/20110114/vujadinovi-extends-loan-spell-with-dons_2212158_2266557 Link to comment

Jazzer_Bett
Steven Gunn is now head of football operations, nice fella - huge Dons fan. Knew him from Uni at Robert Gordons, think he graduated and got a job as an assitant at Pittodrie and has workd his way up with a few other young lads who are running the show behind the scenes. Very much the new generation if you will. Link to comment
