cammy-1995-dons Posted January 17, 2011 Share Posted January 17, 2011 Ok looks like its a 10 team league, why not re-vamp the league cup so we have somethingelse more exciting than league games, How about we take 9 games out of the league and create a group knock out tounment like the Champions League, Rigional groups, DundeeDundee UnitedForfar St.Johnstone AberdeenInvernessBrechinPeterhead CelticHamiltonLivingstoneHearts Rangers KilleHibsPartick Thistle teams play each other home and away Advantages,Cheaper ticketsBigger Support for away games in cupDerby matches for fansEasy Travel with trainNo long drives until semisPossibility of SKY ESPN BBC wanting to buy rightsGives little teams greater income from away travel Link to comment

The only way forward is to reduce the amount of games, i.e 16 team league 30 league games. A lot of people can no longer afford to attend football and therefore football should cater for the majority and as all grounds are all but 60% empty you have to do something different.
