NorthernLights24
A new TV deal has almost been agreed for La Liga despite the protests of Villarreal and Sevilla. La Liga's dominance by Real Madrid and Barcelona unlikely to end New TV deal ensures status quo I listen to the Guardian Football Weekly podcast and this was one of the main focuses of their discussion on Thursday with Sid Lowe. They even commented how despite the fact Sid goes on about this domination in the end all they normally end up talking about on Football Weekly is the "big two". I guess the standard of football will never drop to the levels we see in Scotland as a result of the domination of the Old Firm but like us and the rest of clubs in Scotland it seems that clubs outside of Real and Barca are facing lean times ahead compared to the dominate forces in their leagues.
