NorthernLights24
2-0 down away to Motherwell and Hibs miss a penalty to pull a goal back. Will Hibs stick by their man or will he be be sacked sooner rather then later? I did notice a thread on Hibees Bounce in the aftermath of the Ayr defeat proclaiming they had hired the wrong Calderwood. Link to comment

RAZOR
Got to go now. Hibs in serious trouble, very similar to our former situation. They could do a lot worse than Jimmy$ Link to comment

Jazzer_Bett
I feel fir the Hibees as they are a club I admire in terms if what they've done in recent years, and we've never really had beef with them. But I must admit it's nice to see a rival weakened-personally is ratherIt was the Jamboz or Jute b*stards in that position though. Link to comment

I hope if any team goes down it's St's or Accies cos I want the top flight as strong as possible & with the best supported teams.Hibs will recover from this & we are not out of the relegation fight yet. If we beat ICT I will be very pleased though. Link to comment

Dandyjam
From an outside point of view I think he needs more time. Having said that, it could be like when McGhee was here, we said give him more time and a second season to get his own players in and stamp his own authority on the team and look what happened! ChookterDon
Being honest its a trend that started when john collins was manager, then it was, for a period, overcome by yogi then everything has continued to go downhill from then. Calderwood is just unfortunate in his position. Its something within the club and within the players that is causing their downfall. Link to comment

Pretty similar to ourselves and only now does it seem that deliberate unrest from some players is being nipped in the bud. Link to comment
buzz15afc
if he is given time he has a whore of a job in the summer, most of the team out of contract, but on a plus side he'll be able to bring in his own players Link to comment
madjockmcferson
It's really odd because Hibs are in a great financial position aren't they? and they have a new training facility. In these desperate times where no-one has any money they should by flying high. Just goes to show how random life is..... Also, I don't want them to go down. HIbs are a big team in the context of scottish football.... Link to comment

HIbs are a big team in the context of scottish football.... Yes they are in a reasonable favourable financial position compared to most of the bigger clubs in the SPL. They have a new stand, training complex and a bulk of youth coming through. Out of the smaller clubs in the SPL St. Mirren are in the best financial position probably followed by St. Johnstone, but this does not mean they can splash out on new players, they break even at least. OddJob
When you look at the home attendances for Hamilton and St Johnstone for example it's very embarrassing. So in a financial sense i'd be glad if these teams were to go down. Hibs will pick things up eventually you'd think but you never know. Link to comment
