Clydeside_Sheep
Cracking goal from Jack. Dunno what the hell langfield was thinking, coming away out of the box, leaving Diamond to clear off the line. Link to comment
DD1903
in one of the replays it looks like Hartley is looking at langfield as if to say "wtf?!" hes a 'mare Link to comment
sooth_stander
What is wrong with McArdle's tackle? Takes the ball first, then the man, what is illegal with that? Always find it ironical seeing Butcher going nuts on the touchline at alleged fouls against him, given the players he maimed in his career. Link to comment

It could have been a broken ankle Just cos you take the ball first does not always automatically mean it's a fair tackle. It was a dangerous tackle in my view. Link to comment
OddJob
Think it's the way Rory goes into the tackle more than anything, almost looks two-footed. Have no problem with a hard challenge, missing from the modern game tbh but i do think he was a bit reckless and quite lucky to get away with a yellow. Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
Hard tackles are fine if they are the type of hard tackle you can ride but that was not that type of challenge, that was either jump out of the way completely or get hurt & he didn't jump. Link to comment
The Oxford Don
Absolute howling insanity from Langfield, did he have the Dons to win 2-1 at the bookies or something? Lunatic. Link to comment

No, not at all cos Murray didn't go in & connect straight on onto Fyvies standing ankle like in this case. Murray went in & Fyvie tried to jump over him but Murray then lifted his leg in that one as he was sliding (whether deliberate or not) & prevented Fyvie from managing to stay on his feet after jumping & carrying on past him with the ball.
