K-9
5 games and can see this boy is quality - I would be sitting down with him NOW and getting a 2 or 3 year deal on the table before someone comes in and snaps him up on pre-contract. Link to comment
Foster14
Agree on this one. Only thing I am worrying about is the fact he only came up on a 6 month deal. Hoping it was Brown saying to come up here and earn a longer contract rather than Milsom saying 6 months as he wanted to head back to England. Looks like he could walk most games in the SPL... Roo
first time i've seen him tonight, and I was very impressed. Hope he keeps it up Link to comment
boboisared
If you had to nit pick I'd say he could work on his first touch when under pressure but his range of passing is great. Link to comment
Mouse
Certainly a big difference in our midfield. A touch of class imo Link to comment
rossafc92
Very impressed with him. Great passer of the ball, doesn't panic and has a natural awareness of where people are. Has very good ball retention skills as well. Worry is that of guys like David Moyes were telling Brown that he was the best player on the park in a reserve game he was watching then there will be plenty clubs from down south sniffing about him. Higgins1903
Love watching this lad play. Hope we get him signed up pronto! Link to comment
King Street Loon
Echo the sentiments made by other posters. Get this lad signed up on a permanent deal. If he wants to stay that is. First time I saw him, I thought he looked a different class to what we've had in a long time. Vital for our rehabilitation and future to get thisguy signed up. Link to comment
barassie_afc
Has the great ability to spin and make an extra 5 secs on the ball and has a left peg like a howitzer ,I fear he maybe out of our league Link to comment
RAZOR
Great addition to the team it would seem. Likes picking up the ball and running with it, head up always looking for a the pass or shot. Very impressed so far, hopefully much more to come. Link to comment
forbesz1903
will be playing championship football next season if we don't get the finger out. Link to comment
Coopy100
Pretty much echo the sentiments already expressed. I enjoyed watching him last night. Looks composed on the ball and a good passer of the ball as well. If anything I would say that he was too good for us in our present incarnation but certainly the sort of player we need to keep a hold of if we wish to grow as a club. Link to comment
OddJob
Felt sorry for him last night cause you just wonder what he could have done if we kept 11 men on the park. Other than Vernon and at times Bebo, without a doubt has been our best player in past few weeks. Link to comment
redtildead88
Whenever we get the ball it seems to go to Milsom, no surprise as he rarely wastes it. Link to comment
Jazzer_Bett
Can only agree with all sentiments - he is going to be a great player for us. Reminds me a lot of Paul Mason, and funnily enough his mentor at Fulham, Billy McKinlay. I can see whats going to happen though, we will now go on a fine run from this point right to the end of the season and Milsom, Smith, Maguire, Diamond, Aluko etc. will all end up elsewhere. phoenix
Robert Steven Milsom was born 2 January 1987 in Redhill , England is anEnglish footballer , currently playing for Aberdeen. He can play in central midfield or on the left wing, although he started his career as a left back. For the astrologicaly aware , Robert is a Capricorn in the Year of the Rabbit. Same age as Conso then , a couple of months older. Oh aye and altho' Chris was indefatigable last nicht , I would have had Milson the Capricorn as my man of the match. Link to comment
minijc
Boy is superb, underpressure he works the ball well and hardly loses it then always plays a good pass, both Hartley and Milsom worked really hard last night and it was good to watch. Link to comment
dazzy_deff
Been very impressed. Looks a class act. Hopefully can get him signed up. Commented to my mate last night, that he very rarely gives it away, if at all. Has a good range of passing and a tireless worker. Cracking spy from Brown to get him up here. Link to comment
DD1903
i was sure i had read somewhere that he was signed on a 6 month deal, with an option of extending it for another year. but i can't find it! must be talking pish. damn Link to comment
effektive
Agree with everything said. Fear he is too good for us currently though although is exactly the kind of player to build a squad around. Link to comment

SheepieBaaBaa
"For the astrologicaly aware , Robert is a Capricorn in the Year of the Rabbit." Great stuff, 2011 is the year of the rabbit, so we can't fail..... Link to comment
barassie_afc
I thought hartley did ok v Celtic,I think the three in the centre struggle and a flat 4 would be better Link to comment
RAZOR
ooooh controversy, wonder if that will inspire a 7 page vitriolic response now... , its pretty common knowledge that Hartley is slowing a down alot. Will he manage another full season? Link to comment

Will he manage another full season? If we don't over play Hartley i.e 3 games in a seven day span then we'll get at least another season out of him. I'd keep him, on a lower wage if possible, to mentor with a view to a coaching role. Link to comment

RAZOR
yeah, common knowledge since I piped up about it and got a pasting because of itNope could have told you this months ago. Link to comment
Jazzer_Bett
He is a better player than Folly, well in that he is more positive and plays with his head up (as does Ryan Jack btw its all about the heads up). Like I say he reminds me a lot fo Paul Mason, so much so that i'm going to call him Paul Milsom from now on. Link to comment
Ke1t
If he's that capable then we can't afford him. Link to comment
