mixu
May have been mentioned somewhere else canna be bothered looking but a point i would like to make is in the last two games we have had kick off and other team have been in our box inside a minute. We use this kick off of punting ball into corner last night Hartley hoofed it out the park and 50 seconds later the games is probably over. Why do we not try to keep possession from kick off ? We use this tactic every game, when did we last score an early goal? Link to comment

K-9
Apparently loads of teams do it as it is meant to be pyschological thing. Pin other team deap in their own half in the corner and supposed to set tone for match. Personally i think it is just giving away possession cheaply and pretty idiotic tactic. Link to comment
RAZOR
wonder if we've ever actually scored through it, with the winger winning the header and the forward running in an scoring? i dont go to many games you see, so i'd not know thatThen how do you know mixu is telling the truth? Perhaps its a trap to catch feels like you out. Link to comment
Walt Flanagan's Dog
wonder if we've ever actually scored through it, with the winger winning the header and the forward running in an scoring? i dont go to many games you see, so i'd not know that Ricky Foster against Livi in the league about 4-5 seasons ago. Ball punted out to the wing, winger won the ball and played it inside to Foster who leathered in a half volley as I remember it. Link to comment
Tord31
Also agree would like to see the kick off changed. As pointed out Celtic were in the box in first minute both games. Also one game would like to see Maguire shoot again as regardless of miss/goal/corner think it would lift the crowd in a home match. Link to comment
AFCaketin
This really P1sses me off. Stupid tactic, it does set the tone for the game - us booting the ball aimlessly forward and inviting opposition to take the ball and come at us. We always go down the left wing as well, dont even mix it up and boot it down the right wing. Aberdeen in zero creativity shocker. Link to comment
StandFr33
Its not just at kick off, we punt the ball out from defence (or from a Langers kick) straight to the opposition then sit deep, make no runs or movement and invite them back on us. Wonder why we dont ever win against decent teams? Link to comment

minijc
Brown has done it for years and will keep doing it, lastnight though the ball took a MASSIVE bobble, was about 2ft off the ground has hartley went to kick it. Link to comment
