Bamber
If this is the standard of referees in Scotland no wonder our game is shocking. That man should be fired. completely - more than worrying about flares standing areas and numberted seats - this is where our problems lie Lost control, out of his depth and got so much wrong. he was hardly ever up with play, nmissed all the off the ball stuff and was so inconsistent to be unbeleivable Youll here kenny clark and dougall saying refs have bad games and get blamed for it by managers as an easy target he wasnt of a sufficient standard to be refereeing an SPL game, a player or manager incapable of operating in the spl wont so why do refs? OddJob
Thought the ref was excellent until the red card then lost the plot completely. To be fair he didn't need to be excellent before then as there weren't any incidents pre red card. But as you say he totally lost it after that. Shocking performance and surely the refs advisor (or whoever it is) was watching him from the stands and demoting him for the next SPL game. stand_free
Was woeful with some of his advantages. Pulling play back for free kicks to Motherwell when they were clean down the wing, and us after Paton had already had a pop at goal. Link to comment
Bamber
Thought the ref was excellent until the red card then lost the plot completely. you didnt think he was picky demanding hartley play a free kick about a foot from where the incident took place and then let well take one about 10 yards away from the incident? (dont mind either but the inconsitency is poor) or was constantly poorly positioned and no where near play? or left forbes off with retaliation on maguire early on? Link to comment
Site Sponsor RTYD Posted February 16, 2011 Site Sponsor Share Posted February 16, 2011 Thought the ref was excellent until the red card then lost the plot completely. Up until the red card he had nothing to do so cannot see how he could be excellent. Excellent would mean making and getting crucial decisions right. Re-starting the game and stopping after 45 minutes is hardly excellent. Link to comment
Mouse
Tonights ref, Alan Muir and the guy at Tannadice earlier in the season are the 3 worst ref performances I've seen this season Link to comment
