mark mcghee wasn't manager, that's always a good memory
What a stupid post, totally irrelevant.
It was a bit of a pish year on and off the park I reckon. Complete let down. Okay, I got that centenary portrait and a few of the DVDs and the shirt, but apart from that, it sailed us by pretty much without notice.
I remember wondering in the late nineties if we'd have a season without a sponsor, or whether Milne would splash the cash on a famous name, or whether the centenary might even galvanise the team to win one of the cups or even perhaps more.
But nah, damp squib of a year.
centenary parade down union street with all the fans and flags was good and the events at aecc were good,we had early access to aecc to decorate the halls with banners etc.
keith wyness paid us with crates of beer ...which was nice.
he was a good lad like.
remember turning up late for the liverpool game, missed Zdrilic's goal but made it in time to watch liverpool score 5
That's the centenary shirt made of mostly Nylon is it ? 20th anniversary of the ECWC ? Horrible shirt - never wear it.... I was in Australia and Bangkok that year so not all bad for me...
