St.mirren Quarter Final Fan Display

Recommended Posts

As you all know our quarter final with St.Mirren is coming up.

Our allocation is not going to be the biggest probably in the 1500 region. We are more than capable of filling this and bringing a fanstastic atmosphere to the game.

There has been a few emails passed about how we can achieve this, the thought is to get everyone involved to make it a sea of red and white and get the upper hand over our wannabe Glasgow counterparts.

Alot of people have flags that belong to them or their supporters club or even their village. St.Mirren are allowing us to tape all flags to the back wall behind the fans, so bring along your flag and some tape and try and add some colour to the ground.

This is not a flag waving exercise, just something to boost the fans spirit and hopefully the teams. Were trying to get the basics like confetti, which is easy enough and even some red and white balloons to highten the atmosphere.

Whats everyones thought on this?

good stuff razor...theres 2000 balloons going to be dished out as well ive been reading, leeds red donated 500 and lefty has 1500 im led to believe.

be good if everyone held the balloons up like this for teams coming out...delije02.jpg

and then release once teams are well on the park.

be great to see all the different supporters clubs flags along the back wall.

I shall certainly make a trip to poundland for some balloons. Confetti wouldn't be hard either. Could make quite a mess if we really put our heads into it haha.

Is it worth the Ullevi getting a flug Callum? Could even make it ourselves...

Actually Pudg that not half a bad idea, we certainly have funds (now) . We'll have to discuss the confetti and balloons for our bus that day.

When you back?

Back on saturday (nae in time for the game I'm afraid :( ) I did bring it up a while ago but it was quickly swept under the carpet. I think the club's well known but this could bring a wee bitty of revenue if it's at every game advertising the club!

Streamers?

Like the idea but far do you get them?

ah, so you just registered to stir up some sh*t. firstly about the new stadium plans being knocked back and now to try and sabotage the welcome outbreak of harmony between the fans for the forthcoming st mirren game with some made up story about flares.

This is once again an account set up by the very own simmie, not intelligent enough to last on a forum for more than a few days.

PLEASE IGNORE ANY IDIOTIC REMARK ABOUT FLARES

Our allocation is actually bigger than that, if you read the website recently St.Mirren are giving us upto half the other main stand as well should we need it.

Hopefully the fans will turn out and it will be impressive for the TV, show the power of the Red Army.

North Stand (Ferguslie Park Avenue) - capacity 1,633.(Normally designated for away fans.)

Main Stand (Greenhill Road) - capacity 2,220

So were looking at about 2743. We have the ability to fill that no bother.
