I have mixed feeling about this. One the one hand it is great for a local guy to take over and save his club. It is also positive they are looking to have a diverse shareholder base - it is sensible economics.

 

On the other hand, does this signal a down-sizing of the Scottish game? Teams without a rich benefactor will fall further and further ahead - does this signal a more overt recognition that some teams just cannot compete?

 

Also (and this is a big bugbear of mine) Murderwell are benefitting from haven gone into administration : they were able to clear their debts and gain an advantage on every other club (us included) whom have been tightening their belts or atleast trying to. They cheated....
