Maguire89
The SPL has announced the nominees for the Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year award. Who do you think deserves to win it? Bebo has also been named for YPotY. The 4 names for PotY: Emilio Izaguirre (Smelltic) Steven Naismith (Huns) Gary Hooper (Smelltic) Alexei Eremenko (Killie) And for the Young Player award: Gary Hooper (again) ( Smelltic) David Goodwillie (Scumdee Ushited) David Templeton (Hearts) Chris Maguire (Dons) http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/13078886.stm Link to comment
K-9
Hooper double. Couple of weird nominations there though. Link to comment
ScottishJohn
Eremenko for Player and Hooper for Young player. Wouldn't be surprised to see David Rapist win it. Link to comment
Dynamo
Naismith?? Has he been good? Not noticed. And Maguire? Struggling for young talent this season! Link to comment
DieHardDandy
F@ck's sake! How difficult is it for you to support the Don in the shortlisted and say Maguire for young player of the year?? Maguire get's my vote and the rest of the shortlist can do one! Link to comment

Scarface
By a country mile, Eremenko & Templeton. Anything else is Old Firm, West of Scotland, Weegie bias. Link to comment

Geoff_Tipps
For me, Hooper and Goodwillie Yeah I agree. Bebo just isn't as good as Goodwillie. Link to comment
Maguire89
Eremenko for myself, he turned Killie from an ugly playing relegation fight team into an ambitious side that shows great football sometimes. Izaguirre has been very impressive as well, yeah, but Eremenko played for a weaker team and shined at least as much as Izaguirre. Why Naismith has been nominated, I don't know. For Young Player of the Year ... as a Don I'd go for Maguire of course, but trying to be neutral I'll say Goodwillie, despite his ...personality, but he's a better player, like Geoff and GK said before me.
