NorthernLights24
Bloody hell this place is (with good reason) depressing today. Its the 11th of May which must mean its Gothenburg Day No depressing posts allowed Link to comment
tup
And Archie Knox has come full circle since then. Which is why it pains me to hear folk questioning our management team. They ken what it takes alright. If only we could get Fergie back. Link to comment
Robbie Winters
I'm glad when this day comes round. It actually makes me believe we actually beat Real Madrid in a European Final withouit thinking it was all a dream. Although it 28 years ago I still remember Eric Black rattling that crossbar Van Basten style like it was last night. As their manager Alfredo di Stefano said"Aberdeen have what money can't buy; a soul, a team spirit built in a family tradition"By God we need to paint that on the walls of Loriston !! Link to comment
onlyjim
Wouldn't it be great to get that feeling again.I've never been ratarsed and happy as many times as i was back in the 80's.Mind you i don't think this old body could go through it all again but i would give it a bloody good try. Link to comment

Walt Flanagan's Dog
Kind of shows my level of apathy towards the club at the moment that I completely forgot about this. Link to comment

This is my biggest critism of Milne - that he has allowed this to be eroded to nothing! Anyway, which reminds me I had to phone a call centre the other day and was pleasantly surprised when John Hewitt answered the phone (albiet not THE John Hewitt) Link to comment
