I thought he was banned earlier than that? Yeah bizarre punishment really considering some of the sportsmen who've had longer suspensions.

banned for taking his wifes diet pills which contained a banned substance, apparently

its a stupid punishment but it reflects the stupid cause of his ban.

 

6 month ban to prevent him from playing football over a non-international tournament summer so he misses the tail end of 1 season and the pre-season of the next. marvelous waste of time for everyone involved.
