Jack_Glass
Right! Don't laugh; some of you are more likely to have noticed this already, but every time a topic or rumour pops up on here about Aberdeen, I've clocked the Evening Express posting a similar article, albeit a watered down lazy version. I'm from the West coast so I don't buy Aberdeen papers, in fact i don't buy any papers as they post a load of crap, especially the sports pages, full of old firm rubbish. Anyway...is this the norm for Aberdeen papers, just scour forums/website instead of getting off their ass and speaking to the people that matter? Link to comment
Jack_Glass
I see...so you guys are used to this nonsense? It's the worst and most amateur kind of journalism I've seen. Not that I've seen much, but this must be a real pain in the ass. Link to comment

Jack_Glass
Lol...Yes you matter, but you know what I mean. Why don't they call the club or take a walk down to Pittodrie and actually get proper stories instead of here-say from footy fans that can barely agree on the colour of sh*te (which incidently is blue & green)? Sweet; I used to admin my own bands forum, so have a good understanding bout all the stats, ip's blocks n stuff. I t's amazing how much detail you can go into n see who's snooping. I had to ban a lot of porn spammers though as we had a lot of young kids on our forum. Eventually found a great wee script that helped stop spammers/spiders/bots ect, but that was several year's ago. tainboy
Collaborate with all forums to ban Aberdeen journals. Right after a load of juicy false spotted threads. Link to comment
MD88
Calm down lads. I work in advertising at the journals and that would probably be me spending my day checking to see if you gents are going to be revealing whether or nae we have signed derek riordan! End of Topic... Link to comment
Quagmire
Whats really wrong with browsing fan sites? Obviously they shouldnt take everything they read as gospel and base whole reports on it but it at least it gives them ammo to fire at Craig Brown/Wille Miller. Take the Riordan rumour for example, if they did read it off here then got a direct response from CB whats the issue? Its not as though management at Pittodrie is going to rattle off all potential targets as soon as a journo asks. Im sure its one of many sources they use for reporting. Link to comment

I passed on a tip that never came off. That's hardly Mr Know it all. Tup actually does know everything so he won't complain about the accusation. Link to comment
