Jack_Glass
I predict a 5th place finish, a cup final runners up medal and a place in Europe. Can always hope eh? Link to comment

rossafc92
I think we'll get top six. If you finish in the top six then there's a good chance you're challenging for a European place even if it is only for the first couple of games of the split. I feel we need to get to a cup final this season. Four semis in the past 3/4 years needs to be built on. Get to the final and you never know what could happen. Put those together and you'd have a decent season and a massive improvement on the dire past couple of years we've had. Just so long as we've got something to get excited about throughout the season. Liam
I think we will win the league cup, Scottish cup and have the league won by january. Darren Mackie will win the golden boot with 64 goals for the league season, having only played 14 games due to injury. He will also be given the Aberdeen and Scotland armband, where he will not only lead his club to success, but will take his country to a 5-0 win away against Spain. Next July we will sign Xavi and Messi, along with our january signings of C.Ronaldo, Pique and Puyol. Why nae eh? Link to comment
Dandyesque
We don't even have to be all that much better to have a better season. Missing out on half a dozen stupid red cards (either stupidity from the ref, or the player) as well as subsequent suspensions and not having half a team injured will be a massive help. I expect our squad to be better and would hope the sort of form we showed in Brown's first 10 games or so would be close to the norm for the season. If it is, we'll be better than fine. Good thing for Brown is he's not gotta do much to improve on McGhee's tenure at AFC. A top 6 finish n job done, anything above n beyond that is a bonus. He'll become a fekn legend if he get's us to a cup final and a hero if we get back into Europe. It looks judging by the players he signing that we will be harder to beat, but I'm still not convinced we have the width or goals in our team to make us exciting to watch. I'd say we need at least two flair players to get us right up there, a tricky winger and an intelligent striker...not forgetting a good left back. Link to comment

fifered
i definitely think next season will be better than last. the quality of signings are, on the face off it, better than the dross shipped out. a decent striker and some creativity in the midfield and we're there. top 6 trophy and challenging for Europe. wilm1542
Top 6 is a definite possibility with the manager we have. I think we should be challenging for 4th place for a European spot if we stay relatively injury free and we stop conceeding needless goals and sendings off. A cup final would be good too but luck of the draw i guess. Feeling optimistic but know we still need a few more signings especially a striker and left back. Link to comment
JuanSebastianVernon
U cant beat a bit of pre-season optimism! My heart says we will easily make top six. However I think the league will be alot tighter this year, can see Dunfermline having a good season. Hopefully Caley will have regressed this year with the loss of Adam Rooney. Also I can see the jutes really struggling this year unless they get a good few new players in, Goodwille, Gomis, Bauben, and Conway all leaving will be a massive loss. They are struggling financially right now arent they? I would also expect to see a dip from Kilmarnock this year with them lossing Eremenko and Bryson. Hibs obviously have lost Riordan! I just can't see O'Conner doing anything for them, and all the specualtion over Calderwood can't be helping them when it comes to signing players. Have Motherwell signed anyone? Losing Sutton will be a blow, and they wont have a great manager for the first 6 months like they did last season. Hearts who knows if all the stuff with Thomson drags on then it could impact them. But them they are the team to beat for third spot at the miunte if that all gets sorted out. St Johnstone dont really know much of what they've been doing this summer, however unless they can find goals from somewhere I can seem them stuggling this year. St Mirren 2 good signings yesterday, wouldve been happy if we'd got Teale and Thomson tbh, so I think they will be a tough team to play again this year. Actually after typing all that out I can see a few teams being alot weaker than last season, and we look to be improving right now. So overall I'd say 4th place easy! Link to comment
soofking
I cant see why we cant get at least a top 6 finish next season. There's no doubt in my mind we will improve on last seasons dismal efforts. I trust CB in his summer wheeling and dealings and hopefully vernon and mackie (or hopefully a new striker) can strike up a decent partnership. If our strikers can grab about 30 between them and the rest of the team can chip in with a few then theres no reason we cant push for a european place. I'm not gonna be overly optimistic because in all fairness rangers and celtic are way ahead of us in terms of quality, and even hearts are much better IMO. If we are in top 6 come 33 games, then theres no reason we cant push for europe. As regards to the cups, yes i want to win one. But if i have to choose high league position or a cup win, im choosing league. COME ON YOU REDS! Link to comment
Ke1t
I can see O'Connor being a huge player for the little Tims, and Flood being the same for the smaller of the Dundee teams.... I'm HOPING Osbourne is a rabbit out of the hat signing, but I know f**k all about him. Mawene (I suspect) and Clarke just fill shirts... we're pretty far from a decent side unless the kids (Fyvie an Pawlett in particular) step up to the plate and do what we suspect they can do. I thought last season was going to be their break out year, but injury put paid to that. I expect f**k all from the lower league shirt fillers, but the young lads can hopefully shine like glorious unicorns made out of f**king rainbows and sparkles. Link to comment
