Ke1t
I'm not saying Celtic fans, as Catholics, are paedophiles. I wouldn't leave any kid of mine in their care, though. Just to be safe. Link to comment
Sonoftherock
They arrive over here in WA this week.... i was reading on another website that they're basing themselves at a hotel in the city. right across the road from this pub: http://www.theguide.com.au/BrowseClient.aspx?AccountID=337 I have tickets for their match against Perth Glory on Saturday. I'll pass on my regards to Neil Lennon from the AFC Chat community! I'm expecting the day itself to be absolute bedlam. There are tonnes of Irish folk in Perth and there are two really popular Irish Bars within staggering distance of the nib stadium. There are 5 or 6 irish lads on my amateur football team out here and they have been banging on about this match for the past month. They're planning on hitting the pub at opening time.... the kick-off is 4pm! Hopefully Celtic will get thumped and there will be multiple arrests! Link to comment
red donut
its funny as the tinks i spoke to were saying there would be 45000 there.. only 19000 turned up, they were giving away tickets at 4 for $80... my mates asked if i wanted a ticket, i told them i would rather stick my balls in acid!!!! To be fair, they were playing Central Coast Mariners, who are from Gosford, which is 50 miles from Sydney, where the game was moved to.... Central coast only usually get about 3,000 fans at their home games in Gosford, so I doubt there was much of a contribution from the home side! Think its a sell out at Perth, nib stadium only holds 20,000! I'm looking forward to attending a football match again - last game I went to was Forest vs QPR in Jan 2010, when Forest whooped the cockneys 5-0! Link to comment

Sonoftherock
Was a fairly uneventful match... Celtic never really got out of first gear. An easy 2-0 win. Perth are terrible. Mulgrew played pretty well for Celtic I thought! Probably the pick of the players on show... Funniest moment of the afternoon was immediately prior to kick-off... a plane flew over the pitch, trailing a message with something like "Three in a row, Perth RSC" I also met Neil Lennon and Alan Thompson in the pub later that evening! Thompson has some coupon on him... size of a dinner plate! Looked like he has german measles or something! Link to comment

Sonoftherock
There were actually quite a few ex-pats in attendance.... I spotted a few Aberdeen, Hearts and Dundee United jerseys among the crowd! Link to comment
