Its a bit complicated, The Daimler Motor Company was a car manufacturer in england completely unrelated to Daimler AG (the german boys) i think. Daimler was a particular model made by Jaguar Motors for a while (they obtained a licence from the daimler company to use the brand name). Aye the Phill Mitchel Mobile's are smart as f**k: - you can pick them up fairly cheaply now, hae a gander at the autotrader... Link to comment

The XJR you were talkin about, i remeber the top of the line model for that was called the Daimler Super 8 - looked almost identical to the model below it though - waste of money IMO.
