OneBeboMaguire
Playing tonight against Peterhead: ''The Dons have two guests on show who have been training with the club. Midfielder Michael Woods started his career with Leeds United before moving to Chelsea where he made two first team appearances for the EPL side. The 21 year old has also represented England at various youth levels. Mikael Nicoise is a striker from France. He started his career at Paris SG. Last season the 28 year old was playing his football in Belgium for RFC Tournai.'' Link to comment

barassie_afc
If he is an attacking cm i am all for him Link to comment
zerodon47
If he is an attacking cm i am all for him same here. if he is good and remained fit id even have him playin in the hole in and around vernon, almost a free role type. altho this goes for an attacker we take in. Link to comment
barassie_afc
The tuna salad man sounds absolute gash however Link to comment
Tord31
Fair enough have a look but I'd be surprised if we went for either of these guys Link to comment
sooth_stander
The Frenchie striker is gash, according to folk at the game. Peterheed have just pulled one back, 2-1 now Link to comment
dezzy_dan
I remember Woods being touted as the next Lampard. These lads are probably ten a penny down south though. Link to comment
slippers
This is the kind of trialist we are looking for! Heard good things about this boy! But another midfielder! Ginger aswell if I remember correctly? Anyone confirm how Woods did tonight? Link to comment

Peterheed have just pulled one back, 2-1 nowwell if he came through the PSG youth system ther is a good chance he did so under the guidance of Toni Koumbuare just as "the great white hope " Niclas Fabiano did Link to comment
Dandyjam
Woods is another ginger as well, would slot in nicely beside Milsom and Fyvie! Link to comment
rossafc92
Just checked Woods' twitter. A couple of days ago he said he was about to buy his first racehorse. Somebody tweeted back saying "England or Scotland though?" His reply was "had a look at the spl this week mate, great experience but its not for me!!" Dunno if that completely rules him out of signing for us. Also, about two weeks ago he was speaking to somebody on twitter saying he was effectively signed and sealed at an unnamed club. Looks like that's fallen through though if he's playing for us tonight. Link to comment

winton54
dont think woods is good enough on tonights performance. passing was terrible, and looked really unfit. The forward was completely gash, always had his head down and never looked for a pass, even if players were screaming for it! dont think either will get a contract here. Link to comment
wilm1542
In all honesty it's unlikely we'll sign any of these players Link to comment
StandFree_MainStand
Would agree with what has been said here re: trialists tonight... The striker was poor, so would be surprised if we followed up with an offer. The midfielder, i presume was the ginger number 4, he didnt stand out particularly and is another defensive cm, so dont think we'll be following him up either. Link to comment
wilm1542
The French wingers video on youtube (found this just now on Aberdeenmad) http://www.youtube.com/user/footfanatic99999#p/u/6/GsY0QHegs0A These videos can make even the worst of players look good though Link to comment

spamspamspam
Here's hoping that revolving door of never ending crap trialists keeps on revolving donno Kev The guy woods has a good background and was highly thought of doon sooth before his injury. Not a position we need filling by the sounds of it but sell on value in a that might make it worth while. I've heard from a reliable source that a lot of the work CB has been doing in training has been on positions and formations. Instead of just sticking a formation up and saying this is how we'll play against club x he's been explaining what is needed in each role and drilling it into them. We also have some players now who understand more than 4-4-2 and c an help our less intelligent footballers learn the new roles better. I wouldnt be too disappointed in we signed Woods, would at least show some foresight and forward thinking. As long as we dont sacrifice budget to fill a slot thats needed then IMO he could be a decent signing. Link to comment
