ericblack4boss
i really think that the Mackems could be a real good side this season, definately for me Steve Bruce and Eric Black have spent the money they got for Jordan Henderson really well signed some good honest proven EPL players and i fully expect to see them in the top 10 would be surprised to see them get 7th or 8th place finish. If not the mackem which club do you tip to be the surprise package in the EPL Link to comment
Dynamo
They were top 10 last season (10th) so hardly a surprise if they were 7th or 8th given what they've spent. Link to comment
E-P-K
Liverpool, To finish top 4, and Suarez to be player of the year. Link to comment
Donmacca
I went down to there game against hibs on saturday and they didn't look great but then again it was a friendly. Had a cracking young midfielder called jack colback. For me the team that could over achieve this season is bolton, won 7/8 in pre season and just think coyle is going to have them well organised Link to comment
OneBeboMaguire
None of them, it'll be as predictable as ever Link to comment
Sonoftherock
Surprise packages? Man City to struggle. Mancini to be sacked. Liverpool to finish 2nd or 3rd. Newcastle to be relegated. Link to comment

Sheeptastic
Expect all teams that came up to go straight back down so if any of them perform better then that then they will be a surprise package. For me though, Wigan. Think they'll do a lot better than previous seasons and expect James McCarthy to have moved to a top 6 team come January or next season. Also think Balotteli may surprise us this season. Link to comment
rossafc92
I think Liverpool will come very close to 1st. Still think Man United will win it, in a similar fashion to last season but expect a strong challenge from Liverpool. Also think that Arsenal will finish outwith the top 4, possibly struggle to make the top 6. As far as surprise packages go, I don't think there will be any real shocks provided by the three promoted teams. Would expect QPR, Norwich and Swansea to struggle to be honest. They'll probably pick up the odd surprise result and everyone will be raving about them but don't think they have sides capable of pulling off a better than expected league finish. Everyone else apart from Man United, Chelsea and perhaps Man City can really finish just about anywhere outwith the top few places. Link to comment

Also think Balotteli may surprise us this season. Balotteli certainly possesses the qualities to be a world beater, but at this moment in time, does not have the temperament, in midweek he made a complete arse of Busquets with his tricks. If Mancini cant tame him, then he will be a Milan player in January. Wigan is an interesting one, still think they require another striker. Link to comment
ericblack4boss
would love to see Liverpool 2nd or third and while i believe we will be top four i think that 4th would be an acceptavble finish ready for our title push the season after, i thought we lacked a left back and Enrique has now hopefully solved that problem looking at the rest of the squad only Carra's ageing legs is a concern to me now IF we get another couple of cetre halfs, (nae convinced by Skrtel or Agger either) then we COULD maybe push for the title this term, but i am confident that very soon we will " will knock Man Utd off thier f**king perch " Link to comment
ericblack4boss
Wigan for me they have dodged a bullet in the last two seasons and for me they are nail on to go down this term along with QPR and Blackburn Link to comment
Sonoftherock
Wigan for me they have dodged a bullet in the last two seasons and for me they are nail on to go down this term along with QPR and Blackburn I would expect a real dog fight between QPR, Blackburn, Norwich, Newcastle and Swansea this season. I think Wigan will have enough quality to keep their heads above water. That James McCarthy looks like he's going to be a world beater - it's amazing how much he's kicked on since leaving Hamilton - much will depend on whether they can keep him past January. OddJob
As were Chelsea.Must admit i didn't know that. He actually would be a good signing for them as a replacement for Lampard, especially as Mikel is overrated and he'd play well alongside Essien too imo. Link to comment
