K-9
Assume it will be Charlie picking it off of here that the lad will miss loads of games over coming season as will be away with Algeria Olympic squad. Will be away most of December for qualifying group stages. Link to comment

StandFree1982
Olympic Blow might mean he's not going to be part of squad. The title suggests the blow is to the player, rather than the club. But this is the Evening Express so who knows. Link to comment
muttonhumper
Darren Mackie was hoping to enter the paralympics, but was knocked back for being too sh*t. Edit: ABERDEEN FC will have to do without latest signing Mohamed Chalali for three SPL matches later in the season. The 22-year-old will finally complete his move to Aberdeen FC today and could feature in this evening’s Scottish Communities League Cup clash with Dundee at Pittodrie. But Aberdeen boss Craig Brown confirmed he expects to lose Chalali for more than two weeks from the end of November because the striker is needed by Algeria to play in a pre-Olympic Games qualifying tournament. fine-n-dandy
If this is true then why sign the lad especially on a 1year deal? Is it really only a one year deal? Fkn hell Darren Mackie gets a 3 year deal & we sign a young lad (I assume on low wages) with 'probable' potential on only a one year deal. Go figure. Link to comment

Dandyesque
Someone said the other day 'How will we balls this one up'. I'm sure the club had no idea about this when signing him and must now be dying of embarrassment now Charlie has pointed it out to them. Is that what you mean? Link to comment
vanderark14
3 games is nothing if we don't have injuries. Megginson will hopefully develop as the season progresses, Magennis is improving. With this lad on board we have a few options for the forward line now. Link to comment
