Big Man
Someone i work with (a hun) forwarded this to me today. Supposedly its the words of a Tim who wrote a letter to the Slovenian embassy about the fielding of Carlos Bocanegra. FAO: The Cultural Attaché Dear Sir or Madam I think it appropriate to draw the following fact to your attention. When Maribor FC of Slovenia played Rangers on Thursday last the Scottish club fielded an ineligible player. The US citizen Bocanegra was signed just before the match, but he does not have the necessary visa to play for the club in the UK. This should have rendered him ineligible for the match but he was included in the side anyway by the Rangers' management team, and played in the game. Despite being a proud citizen of Scotland I am also an upholder of the Corinthian spirit, and a fierce defender of the rules of fair play. As such I feel strongly that this flagrant breach of UEFA rules should be brought to the attention of the Maribor club and to UEFA. This should certainly result in the tie being awarded to the Slovenians. I remain Yours faithfully It has since transpired he was eligible i think (someone correct me). Link to comment

UEFA are looking into it. Good. Anything that f**ks up that repulsive institution cannot be a bad thing regardless of the source. Well done that Tim even if it does prove to be wrong. f**k the Orcs. Link to comment

Sounds like they had SFA and by association UEFA approval so they may get away with this ok. Link to comment

Well, i can't disagree with you there. Its not so much the content of the letter i object to, its where it was directed. Sending a letter to the consulate over a football match??? What can they do about it... Complain to UEFA by all means, but trying to kick up a diplomatic row - complete and utter arse. They've always got to take things to another level these bhoys*. Edit: spelled boys wrong there. Link to comment
baconman
FFS let the OF sad cases bicker amongst themselves in their own useless pathetic lives. Link to comment
OddJob
Surely that couldn't have been a Tim who wrote that as it's word perfect. No Tims can even f**king spell. Link to comment
Jazzer_Bett
The Huns can slag off the tims all they want about this - fact remains they wouldn't have the sharpness of mind to perform such a crafty move themselves........ Although it is the kind of sneaky sh*te Irish types would get up to. Link to comment
