NorthernLights24
St Johnstone and Motherwell both winning at the moment and Inverness are being held by Ayr at Somerset Park. We need one of these teams to lose tonight so we become a seed in the next round according to the radio. Absolute joke that a competition like the league cup features seeding I know its been like this for a few years now but every year we reach this stage of the cup I can't believe this happens. Dandyjam
Was the same last season as we finished the previous season 9th as well, luckily we sneaked into the seeding positions. If we're unseeded and have to play another SPL team then so be it, I'll have United at home. Oh and the draw is now on Monday. Link to comment

Tord31
Any non spl team would be a preferable draw but how's about ross county? Am I right in thinking we've never ever played them? Can't be many teams that's the case so even county away might be a good fixture? Link to comment

tup
Butcher might very well be getting his jotters soon Surely this is not the same leviathon-esque managerial genius Stoney was calling for as Aberdeen manager last season? Who has had one good season in how many years as a boss? I must be mistaken, but if he does get sacked, I recommend we sack Brown and Knox immediately and hand him a massive contract. Caley let Duncan and Munro leave at the same time - massive mistake. And it should read Ayr 1-0 Caley Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
Please do not let it be an away tie on artificial turf With our crock prone squad we'd have hardly anyone able to be risked on that surface. Link to comment

Oh yeah you'd think but it's not only that.Osbourne probably cannot be risked cause of his old injuriesMawame sameFyvie samePawlett has injuries following him like the the plagueClark (not that he'd be a huge loss) also has dodgey old injury Arnason just had an injurie. We'll likely have to drop half our team or risk them to possible long term injuries. Probably others that i've also missed. I detest artificial surfaces & think they should be banned from top flight. Annan Athletic confirming they are putting in plastic pitch next summer and more lower league clubs expected to follow suit. Link to comment
